I started out with an entry level open 3D printer, and made some great models. Then I needed a stronger part and tried ABS, which was a disaster. I decided to splurge, and get the X-Plus and so far have enjoyed using it. I have it in the basement, so the wi-fi is great. The prints have all been better than my first printer. But not 3.5 x better, which is how much more it cost. However, the ABS part I recently made was 100% better. I also now have the Hi temp extruder available for the future. Most reviews mention the parts stick to good to the build plate, it's true, the surface blistered off one of my plates leaving an unusable spot. In the future I will cool the plate extra before tearing off parts. I like my printer.
