      E2CF is a desktop 3D printer developed by Raise3D for carbon fiber-reinforced filaments and other composite materials.

      Carbon fiber filament has low density, high strength, and it is resistant to corrosion, static electricity and high temperature.It has potential for a wide range of applications within industries that need considerable strength-to-weight ratio in their solutions, such as the aviation industry and the automotive field. The E2CF is durable, user-friendly and stable while in operation and prints accurately.

       

        

      Features

      Nozzles with High Durability

      The new silicon carbide nozzles have excellent wear resistance and thermal conductivity, which will effectively lessen the abrasion the carbon fiber composite filament subjects the nozzle to when printing, making the nozzle more durable.

      *Nozzles made of other materials suitable for printing carbon fiber filaments will be launched in the future.


      Dual Direct Drive Extrusion System

      The gears are made of high-hardness steel and have been heat-treated for better wear resistance.

      With a custom gear tooth profile, filament is firmly held in place to ensure that it does not slip when extruding. The force of the system is enhanced to ensure the stability of printing.

       

      Compatible with a Variety of Carbon Fiber Composite Filaments

      The E2CF is compatible with the Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Filament and the high-performance carbon fiber filaments certified by the Raise3D Open Filament Program, such as PA CF/PET CF/PPS CF (printing Temp. between 280-300 °C) from BASF and LEHVOSS.

      The Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Filament is reinforced with short carbon fibers, and exhibits excellent rigidity and strength, heat resistance, low warpage, and low water absorption. Meanwhile, this material has an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, and will obtain enhanced mechanical property and dimensional stability after annealing, which makes it suitable to replace metal in the manufacturing of certain lightweight components.

       


        Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Support Filament

        Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Support Filament is a break-away support material specially developed for carbon fiber-reinforced composite filaments. During the 3D printing process, it creates a stable support structure, providing proper adhesion to printed surfaces and counteracting any tendency to warp. As such, it significantly improves the surface quality of the overhangs and hollows of the printed items. After a print is finished, the support structure can be easily removed or broken away from the printed parts. This support material exhibits a broad compatibility with many Raise3D OFP (Open Filament Program) certified high-performance carbon fiber-reinforced composite filaments, and is more cost-effective when compared with water-soluble support material.

         

        Sealed Dry Box

        The built-in suspension trays are used to place the filament and allow material to be pulled more smoothly. When closed, they can effectively prevent dust and moisture from affecting the material, for a period of up to 30 days*.

        The E2CF has slicing profiles that have been repeatedly tested and verified by our engineers in ideaMaker. There is no need to adjust the parameters before printing. Enjoy easy and high-quality printing.

        What features make the E2CF a good desktop 3D printer?

         

        What is IDEX? Why is IDEX important?

        The E2CF is an IDEX 3D printer. IDEX stands for independent dual extruders meaning the extruders can operate independently of one another along the same axis during printing to perform more advanced functions.

        With IDEX, one extruder can remain motionless and off to the side while the second extruder prints the model, minimizing the risk of the nozzle on the motionless extruder interfering with the print job during dual or single extrusion printing.



        What are Mirror Mode and Duplication Mode? Why are these functions important?

        IDEX can perform two specialized functions, Mirror Mode and Duplication Mode.

        Mirror Mode prints a model and an inverse of that same model at the same time. It is convenient because it saves the effort of creating an additional design file for the inverse model, and it saves the extra time usually spent printing the inverse model separately.

        Duplication Mode is synchronized printing, meaning it uses both extruders to print a model and an exact copy of that model at the same time. It can double production capability within the same timeframe.


        What are other convenient features of the E2CF? And why are they important?

        Easy Swap Print Heads are a convenient feature of the E2CF. These print heads are easy to remove, making it easy to swap out a print head for another print head. There are a variety of reasons why swapping print heads is necessary, such as using a different print head with a different nozzle.

        Any spare Easy Swap Print Heads can easily be prepared with hardened nozzles, and nozzles at different sizes, such as 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 nozzles to swap in a few steps and get back to printing.

        Auto Bed Leveling

        Bed leveling is the process of confirming that the printing platform is as level as possible. The E2CF has this leveling procedure as an automated function. Auto bed leveling will maintain the distance between the print nozzles and the bed, to create a uniform build area. This improves bed adhesion and allows the extruder to adjust to even the most minor of surface contour changes for better final print quality.

         

        Camera

        The E2CF uses a camera to monitor the entire 3D printing process of every print job. This camera operates by connecting to RaiseCloud, allowing users to keep track of every print job remotely and while on the move. This ability to check the 3D printing process gives peace of mind.

         

        Safety Features 

        Power Loss Recovery

        Either a power outage or a filament outage (when the filament runs out) can cause a print job to be lost if they occur in the middle of the 3D printing process. However, the E2CF has a filament run-out sensor on its extruders to alert when the filament is about to run out and saves the print job. It also has a power loss function to save the printing status in the event of a power outage and can continue printing from the same point when power is restored.

         

        Automatic Detection

        Another safety feature of the E2CF is that it can automatically detect when a door is opened and will immediately pause the print.

        Improved calibration accuracy

        A new auxiliary process was developed specifically for fiber-reinforced materials, to improve nozzle height calibration accuracy, support adhesion, and first layer print performance.

          Warranty

          Warranty Period; Repair or Replacement; Shipping

          The standard Warranty Period for these products is one year from the date of invoice, except that the standard Warranty Period for heating rod(s), thermal sensor(s), heat bed(s), cooling fan(s) and circuit board(s) such as the LCD, LCD Logic Board, Motion Controller Board and Extruder Board (for Pro2 Series and N Series only) is ninety (90) days from the date of purchase.

          If the original purchaser purchases an extended warranty, then:

           For One Year Extended Warranties, the Warranty Period for all components is one year from the date of invoice.

           For Two Year Extended Warranties, the Warranty Period for all components is two years from the date of invoice.

           For Three Year Extended Warranties, the Warranty Period for all components is three years from the date of invoice.

          1-Year RaiseShield: Full warranty coverage of electrical and mechanical components of Raise3D Pro2 Series printers for 1 year, consumables and cosmetic imperfection not included.

          2-Year RaiseShield: Full warranty coverage of electrical and mechanical components of Raise3D Pro2 Series printers for 2 year, consumables and cosmetic imperfection not included.

          3-Year RaiseShield: Full warranty coverage of electrical and mechanical components of Raise3D Pro2 Series printers for 3 year, consumables and cosmetic imperfection not included.

          Warranty claims must be submitted prior to the end of the applicable Warranty Period.

          With respect to valid warranty claims made during the applicable Warranty Period, Raise3D will, at its option, repair or replace the defective products at no charge. We may also make arrangements with you to send you replacement parts that you may install on the printer. Appearance defects that do not affect product’s functioning are NOT covered by this warranty. If a product is to be replaced or returned for repair, shipping will be via ground carrier, and we will pay shipping costs only from the original product delivery address and our facility. You must insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. After the return shipment is received by Raise3D and the purchaser’s product issues have been confirmed to be covered under this warranty, Raise3D will ship the repaired or replacement printer to the purchaser freight prepaid to an address in the continental United States or Canada, where applicable.

          Damage due to shipping the products from Raise3D to the purchaser upon the initial purchase thereof is covered under this limited warranty, but only when Raise3D is shipping the item via a carrier selected by Raise3D. The purchaser of the product, or the purchaser’s agents, is responsible for any damage to products that are picked up by the purchaser or its agent or shipper from Raise3D’s facility. If Raise3D repairs or replaces a product, its limited warranty term is not extended.

          Returns; Exchanges

          If the original purchaser is unsatisfied with the printer it purchased from Raise3D, the original purchaser can return/exchange it within 30 days from the date of its purchase, provided that for a printer that is not defective the original purchaser must pay a restocking fee equal to 25% of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), and the cost of shipping the printer back to the Raise3D facility. The original purchaser must notify us prior to returning the printer so that we can make appropriate shipping arrangements.

          Filaments and Third Party Supplies

          Due to wide variations in the quality and performance of third party filaments and other third party-supplied materials and supplies, purchaser agrees to use its best effort to use only certified materials and supplies that are sold or provided by Raise3D (listed at https://www.raise3d.com/compatible-filaments/) or by Raise3D-approved third parties. The customer will bear the risk of damage or product nonperformance resulting from the use of filaments or other supplies that are not supplied by Raise3D or a certified supplier.

          If you have unused spare parts, you may return them for a refund during the period ending ninety (90) days from the purchase date. Shipping costs are not refundable, however. Used spare parts cannot be returned or exchanged.

          Raise3D reserves the right to determine the validity of all warranty claims.

          Limitations; Packaging

          The limited warranty provided hereby is void if the printer’s serial number has been altered or removed, if the printer has been misused or damaged, or if the printer was altered, modified, or serviced by unauthorized service people, and does not cover damage due to external causes, including problems with electrical power, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required cleaning or preventive maintenance if specified by Raise3D and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Raise3D.

          Your Raise3D Printer is transported in reusable, durable packaging that has been specially designed to protect the printer during transport. This packaging must be kept during the warranty period and used anytime you need to transport the printer. If the original shipping carton and packaging are not available, the purchaser must notify Raise3D, who will send a replacement carton and packaging materials to the purchaser, at the purchaser’s expense.

          If you have a warranty claim, please contact your vendor for shipping instructions and other information regarding the processing of your claim.

          The foregoing warranty contains Raise3D’s sole warranty, and the customer’s sole remedy, with respect to defects in any Raise3D products. Raise3D disclaims all other warranties whatsoever, express or implied, with respect to Raise3D’s products, including without limitation all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. In no event will Raise3D be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to, loss of profits, lost data or lost software.

          These products have been thoroughly tested and inspected at the factory prior to shipment. Nevertheless, inspect your products completely for any damage or loss of parts that may have occurred during shipment. Notify the delivering carrier promptly if damage claims are to be filed. If the laws of the country in which the Product is sold provide for mandatory and non-waivable warranty rights that are broader than those provided herein, we will provide you with warranty service and rights in accordance with such laws

          Raise3D reserves the right to modify or update its products without obligation and to replace any equipment delivered prior to any such change. Raise3D shall own all parts removed from repaired products.

          Consumables and Excluded Items

          The foregoing warranty does not apply to consumables, such as hot end(s), nozzle(s), fan cover(s), build surface, build plate(s) or top cover(s) or other items that are expended in the normal operation of the printer, nor does it cover external devices, accessories or parts added to a Raise3D system after the system is shipped from Raise3D. However, if you have unopened unused filaments or any other unused consumables, you may return them for a refund during the period ending ninety (90) days from the purchase date. Shipping costs are not refundable.

          Opened filaments or used consumables cannot be returned or exchanged. 

           

            Shipping

            ORDER CONFIRMATION

            As soon as your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This confirms your order has been received in our system and your credit card is authorized for purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we begin processing to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail to confirm if you'd like to keep your order or cancel for a full refund.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

            ORDER SHIPMENT

            Please reference your product page specific lead times. After shipment, items will arrive in 2-7 business days.

            Some models are custom made, and can take as long as 4-5 weeks to ship depending on the model and series. Please contact customer service before ordering if delivery time is a concern of yours.

            Certain items due to high demand and low supply can only be placed on back order at specific times. Please contact customer service to hear about any items availability.

            Please contact us for rush shipping rates and options. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within four business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@machineshark.com.

            Large items that ship via freight (not UPS or Fedex) require a signature upon delivery. You will receive a call from the shipping company to arrange a time and day for delivery that works for you.

            PRODUCT QUALITY GUARANTEE

            Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should REFUSE the package, and make note of it on the delivery receipt.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please contact us immediately and send photos to info@machineshark.com . We will process an insurance claim on your behalf and happily work with you to resolve the issue and refund or replace your order.

            CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

            Generally, most of the items we carry can be returned within 30 days of receipt in new condition and unopened.

            Returned products must be sent back with their original packaging and have all of the parts and components that they came with. Please contact the manufacturer for any warranty issues.

            Please document (photograph) any damages upon receiving the item and report these damages to the delivery carrier if product was sent by LTL or freight (not by UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc).

            Some items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping cost, even if the item was "free shipping". Any damages to products may void the return.

            Returns must be accompanied with an RMA number. Please contact us in order to have one generated.

            Should you have any questions about a particular product’s return policy we’re here to help. Please contact us and we will respond within 24 hours.

            As stated in the Product Quality Guarantee, any item that arrives in less than perfect condition or missing parts will be handled at no extra cost. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

            It is the customers' responsibility to confirm the product will comply with their state, county or city codes. If you will be receiving an inspection by a county or city inspector, please ask them what they require.
